league starts next week against down the ladies have had a good start to the year with huge wins over leitrim wicklow and waterford. what ye think of the new comers this year? ive been impressed with lisa higgins on sunday also mary lawless, but the 2 stand outs for me are ciara hogan and aine gately.
i know its hard to judge these players against poor opposition so will be interesting to see how they all do in the league.
also anyone know anything about the injury louise keatley picked up sunday looked bad at the time and is trish delahunt available for sunday?

A good day today in Celbridge winning 2-17 to 2-7......... I was at the game today and have to say before the ball was thrown up i thought we would win by about 10 points Kildares pre match routine was so professional compared to Meaths mediocre warm up...........
Briane dominated from start to finish and her partner in midfield Holton they were excellent.
Everyone up front played well the two gately sisters and Nooners standing out again. Siobhan Hurley a bit of the pace................
Herbie had great game as did Donna and Lambers........Tipp next saturday who lost to sligo today

Disaster Tipp 6-7 kildare 1-9 it looks worse than it was, tipp were the better team but not by that much referee and paul kelly were a joke should have put 6 of there girls in the bin at least,
every time kildare were through for goal he would blow for a free which was no good as kildare needed goals...................
In the first half tipp playing with the hill and wind scored 5-5 to kildares 3 points kildare dominated the second half but couldn`t break tipps dirty tactics.............
i don`t think paul kelly has any real gameplan for the girls its just let aine take them on and everyone else kick pointless balls into full forward line he doesn`t seem to know what hes doing with them..................
where it went wrong was at the back mainly. kiri got roasted and herbie was no better her woman caused real problems it took the management team nearly 30mins and 5 goals before they copped onto this and then he takes lambers off instead of herbie maybe a bit of favouritism for his club there. The two changes at the back made a big difference but was too little too late.
I also couldn`t understand taking lisa higgins off and he looked at dee gately play shit for the whole game and especially when we needed goals the whole set up is a joke in my view and the championship is going to be a disaster
