I think we're in with a good shout. Any word on any injuries starting line up?
Hopefully a good crowd will go even though they put it in navan.

I agree, and will have a few bob at that Price.. Is Costello available I wonder.

I dont envisage any changes, unless due to injury.

I think it great to get to a final no matter what. If we can build consistency at underage level of getting to finals and winning some it just gets the whole mentality for all players in a better place. It becomes second nature. It could take a long time but at least we are trying.

From what I have seen it seems to be a good strong panel of players.

I also notice a serious spread of players from different clubs.

I thought there may be more sash players?

Like who Botch ?

I see Costello is available for Dublin, and they have 8 u21's on the Dublin Senior Panel.

(2/7) Dublin v Kildare (100/30)

Paddy Power doesn't believe we have much of a chance on Thursday night.

Paddy like any bookmaker will look at results over history between the two counties at any level and I would have though somewhere between a 1in 3 or 1 in 4 chance sums up the historical performance of Kildare v Dublin. It might be even worse historically, I haven't had time to check the records.

How are we looking for tomorrow night. Due to mid week games I haven't seen too much of this U21 team. I'm making the journey tomorrow though so what should I expect.

Do we have a fighting chance, where are the teams strengths, which players should I be looking for as a possible future Senior apart from Kelly and Hyland?

We have a chance if we perform and Dublin are a little off their best. Dublin at their best are they best team in the country so that's the size of the task facing our lads. We were much better against Meath so hopefully we can improve again. P Mescal and N Flynn are two that certainly have the ability to progress but time will tell

Navan is always playable lads..........probably one of the best pitches in the country to deal with lots of rain!

I reckon the bit of wind and rain could suit us more.

Yeah Navan is a decent surface, and will no doubt suit the Dubs, having already played here in the Semi, and in previous Years.. By my reckoning only Kelly and Hylo would have played in Navan previously.

Kildare (Leinster U21 FC v Dublin) – Colin Heeney; Brian Byrne, Darren Maguire, Paul Mescal; Ryan Houlihan, David Hyland, David Duke; Ryan Moore, Pascal Connell; Chris Fenner, David Fitzpatrick, Niall Kelly; Neil Flynn, Mark Sherry, Chris Healy.

Same 15, with Sherry moving to FF the only switch.. I thought Liam Healy might have come into contention, as He is available again.

Best of luck Fellas.

Best of luck to Kildare tonight. Hopefully a big crowd will go to Navan to support them. It's a big ask but hopefully the lads can get the win.

Finger's crossed, more excited by this than anything from the seniors this year, would be a fine lift but a huge ask. Here's hoping. Presume KFM is my man?

finishing work a bit earlier tonight, looking forward to a match for the first time in a long time.

As Seamus said, we're there now, might as well go win it.

Give it your all lads and hopefully Kildare will get that bit of luck or bounce of a ball tonight.

Hopefully a big Kildare crowd will travel tonight. Dublin underage teams don't tend to be as well supported. It would be fantastic if we could win.

Best of luck to the players tonight. The heavy conditions might favour the bigger Dublin team and our relative lack of height in the full-back line might be a problem but if the lads have improved as much in the last two weeks as they did in the previous two they have a great chance I'd say. Thought the minor team 3 years ago was a bit too nice and at least some of that has been knocked out of them now. Looking forward to hitting the road to Navan.

Obviously not at it but from sounds of it can Neil Flynn play senior just to take frees?

He's more than just a free taker Tommy. He's big and strong, very pacey and has an eye for goal.

In truth he should travel with the Seniors on Sunday, in reality Ryan is a moron and it won't happen.
