I was told Fitz couldnt give the nessecary commitment the Management wanted, due to Military Training.

Heard that he asked to be excused one training session and was 'dropped by text' a couple of days later ???

Not true.. I have already given the reason why HE dropped off the Panel.

I was told again at the weekend that he was dropped as opposed to dropping himself + he scored 11 points for Monasterevin at the weekend, Shocked Shocked Shocked

Tyrell was outstanding against us but he probably lacks the pace for intercounty football. I think I read that leixlip beat carbury not 100%

How many players has Ryan brought into the panel that have made a difference, or how many has he improved their performance. It looks to me he has taken McGeeney's players some who are three years past their best and mixed them with players he didn't think were good enough and then reduced other players performance.

There are players in the County who are playing well at the moment as shown in this thread yet never get a call up. Maybe they don't want to and that's their business but Ryan should be all over them like a rash

The league is over and it has been a unmitigated disaster, the squad should be culled and new blood brought in.

I think Tommy Moolick has improved but that is probably due to age same with both Cribbin's and Conway (although he has regressed this year) the rest have went backwards I think.

Not sure what point You are trying to make GAA1928, and does it really matter now at this stage ??

It will be interesting now to see over the coming Matches, what current County Players stand out for their respected Clubs, as they should do !!

Well condidering the very little return we got from the 8 Forwards used, excluding Flynn of course.. Anyway thats gone now.

What should also happen is the Senior Management and BackRoom Team should be attending as many League Matches as possible.

Most of the back room team are club players so that shouldn't be a problem. I find it strange that the likes of Joe Lyster and Morgan O'Callaghan have such a big influence on the county team. What have these guys done to warrant that?

Celbridge v Naas. No Lyons or Doyle. Callaghan excellent out the field setting up play controlled the tempo. O'Grady excellent too at the back. Conway rather quiet in the middle of field.

Eddie Heavey is one of them. He has been flying for Moorefield this year. Not sure who else has been called in. Just looking at the league table, only 4 games in and only 2 teams remain unbeaten and they play each other this weekend. Shows how competitive the league has been this year, whether that is because some of the top teams have gone back or others have improved is open to question I suppose!!
