Congratulations to Naas for winning both the football and hurling A Feile finals for the second year in succession. Marvellous achievement and great reward for some serious work being done at underage level.

That would be a worry for me. With no disrespect to Naas, are they really that far ahead of everyone else in the county at this age group or are the standards around the county just poor?

They humiliated us in the football, albeit we did not turn up on the day! In the round match it was Leixlip 3-10 naas 3-10 so the final was not a fair reflection on us. Nonetheless naas were ruthless once going ahead!
Some Naas underage teams are playing Hurling in the Kilkenny championships. I read there recently they bet Dicksboro by a few in u-16 hurling! A force growing! although I feel it can only be good for Kildare. Hopefully the rest of us will raise the bar somewhat.....
