Best of luck to the Seniors tomorrow in Croker, a big ask taking on the All Ireland champions, but give it a lash, and you never know what might happen.

Like last week we have very little to lose as 6/1 outsiders. Maybe the element of surprise has gone somewhat but Kerry do have a history of being a little bit flat in quarter finals rather than semi finals and finals.  Kildare will need a quick start again and we need the same intensity that we saw in Thurles. Kerry are vulnerable to direct running and Kildare can get some joy if we get the likes of Cribbin and Bolton running off the shoulder from deep. Moolick and Paudie will have important roles to disrupt Moran and Maher around the middle. I think we will give this a good rattle.

Watchin Donegal and Galway yesterday show the gap to be made up on the top teams and the scale of our task today, But I think we are better than galway in our kickout strategy and our scoring potential so I think we can get close, I think we will need goals to wn the game as I can see kerry getting at least 2 goals today. Best of luck to the lads, Believe and go for it.

Key things for me:

1. Peter Kelly or Fitzy to mark Donaghy (don't think O'Grady tight enough even if fit)
2. Lyons on O'Donoghue and needs to have a big big game
3. I'd like to see Doyle driving through the middle when the opportunity presents as he did v Cork. Sheehan won't have the mobility to keep up
4. But that means Murnaghan in particular needs to be disciplined and sweep behind
5. Cribbin, Moolick, O'Neill and McNally to run the arse off the Kerry midfield / half back line
6. Smith to continue his great season getting out in front all the time with Kelly sticking close to him for lay offs
7. Defensive discipline is key. Did well the last day but Marty Duffy was really on his game (did I just say that?). We may not get such consistent refereering today.
8. Finishing needs to be clinical - was pretty good against Cork although we missed a few in the first half
9. Only win frees on the left hand side :-)
10. Pray

Good luck to the lads - really didn't think Kildare football was going to give us such a decent summer... (where is Tommy K anyway ???)

Best of luck to the lads. Getting ready to go. Sandwiches containing the sponsors product in hand. As the late Paidi O'Se would say 'extremely wired for this one'. Wouldn't read too much into the Donegal Galway game. The Galway midfielders and Paul Conroy won nothing. We can do this.

Bitterly disappointing . 20 points down with 15 left. Have to sit here in Croker for the next 15 mins.

Feel for the lads on the pitch

One more year, one more year, one more year....

You can shove it up your arse. I can't be bothered with Ryan and his appalling record anymore. But I'm sure the usual lads who were on here last week telling me and others why we were so wrong will be happy enough to defend him. Or will they as before over the last two years of hell disappear and pretend nothing is wrong.

Biggest defeat in GAA football history . 27 points.

Along with Longford against Dublin a few weeks ago.

Very deflating. 2 massive losses in one year. The mental scars on these players at this stage must be beyond repair.

Can change manager... and maybe we should - but players need to accept responsibility. We were five points down after 40 minutes. One goalkeeping mistake led to six goals in 18 minutes. We are so pathetically weak mentally. How we could go from some of our tenacious defending in the first 10-15 minutes to watching them walk through for seven goals... it goes beyond managers or tactics.

There is no case for Jason Ryan's defence - pun completely intended.

Another dent added to the neverending amount of scars that Kildare GAA continue to leave with me. What an absolute embarrasment this is. 7 goals! Utterly shocking. I did not see this one coming whatsoever, but maybe I should of. Was clear from JOD's point from throw in that Kerry were playing with intent and were tuned in. The lads tried hard for most of first half but the simple matter is that we are not at that level and nowhere near it. Our set up was ridiciulous, I would Imagine Alan Smith is a tired man tonight, he won his fair share of ball but no one get even close to him for support. Defensively we fell apart second half and it was humiliating to watch as we were run raggged. I have said it all season that the full back line is the weakest i have seen it in years and it was evident for all to see today if the Dublin game wasnt enough proof. Changes in the management 100% needed, Jason Ryan is not and never was the answer, while we have improved offesnsively to a degree, our defensive play is shambolic, weak and way too nice. Orher than Eoin Doyle no one else deserves a mention today. New management new players and a clean slate for 2016 please.
