Will always be wary of Limerick after that night in Portlaoise in 2012 and Boltons late equaliser. Should win however but we need to start to make our superiority count on the scoreboard.

Glad you posted about the throw in 1928 - I'd have been arriving at half time - assumed it was 2 pm as ever.... 1/10 - never a healthy thing

I remember that game in Limerick. I remember Bolton being taken off in extra time and him just lying on the ground absolutely exhausted for several minutes not able to move. They really should of beaten us.

In fairness to Cian he's give lots of lads game time which is good. Hopefully another win on the cards.

I like the notion of Kelly and Smith inside. If you end up having Cribbin, Dan Flynn and Moolick to squeeze into the middle third I would hope that those two finishers can be left inside.
The team is winning and lads are getting chances with plenty of players who are coming back and would be considered starters in other years.

Putting two and two together it seems the Limerick manager has two teams playing Sunday. One the County footballers and one a comogie team playing in Croke Park.  We seemed to have moved forward our game to allow him to get to the second half in Dublin.

It's made a right balls up for me as Sunday being Mother's day that move forward means I won't get the first half in Newbridge. Good to know the Kildare County board can be so accommodating, pity they would not think about their own supporters plans first for a change.

She is going to have to now. Priorities and all that. I'm going to pay for it but match day is match day.

Hopefully the pitch holds up.

Obviously it was snowing today, showers forecast for tomorrow and apparently it's going to be pissing down on Sunday.

I'm quoting that directly from Jean Byrne last night.

Listening to the commentary on KFM. You would fear for this group of players when they come up against a serious championship team.

The best thing you can say about today is that the rain held off.
