It's only the top 6 staying up in Division 2 for next year as far as I know.

It's some upheaval... interesting times up balyna way with the cloghs going up and the bridge going down.
Eadestown could be playing senior football next year from div 3.. interesting times ahead.

Eadestown wont be playing Senior anywhere next year. Nailed on for relegation back to Intermediate. Lots of injuries and players away will see them go back down.

Ah its all on the day. With Bolton there you could never rule them out on a one off. Certainly on paper they appear to be the most limited team in senior champ but sure that's the beauty of it!

Really tight. Congrats to Clogh's on promotion.

Big games for final round:

Kilcock v Kevin's. - Kilcock could miss out on top 6 finish if lose.

Sallins v Ballyteague - I make it, if Sallins win by 10 points, they leap over Ballyteague.

Maynooth v Ballymore - Expect Rathangan & Straffan to win their games so a must win for Maynooth or big cock up for them playing in Div.3 next year. It's score difference after points right? The kildaregaa tables have Rathangan ahead Maynooth though Maynooth have better score diff.

Normally it comes down to Head to Head result if two teams are tied on the same points, then if there are 3 teams tied on the same points it comes down to score difference.

Maynooth don't seem to like playing away this yr, they have only won one game away from home all season

Only beaten Kevin's above them. Drew with Ballyteague and lost all others by 1 or 2 points. Poor really.

There's a fair few permutations for who gets into the top 6. All down to the final whistle. Straffan are pretty much the only one's after Clogh's certain to be in top 6, given Castlemitchell's form to date.

It states that all games to be played at the same time, bit of an overkill here as by my reckoning 4 of the games in Division 1 will have no bearing on who is relegated and the top 2 are already decided.

That said the other 4 games should be played at the same time.

Are there provisional dates for the next round of the championship set ?.. depending on the county senior's or minors progress of course.

What we are lead to believe is that it will either be weekend of 12th August or 19th August - I suppose that could depend on how minors fair in their quarter final.

Just checking Leinster Gaa website, 1st round of senior club championship not scheduled until 30th October, I think a small bit later then usual. No draw made yet though.

Reserve Championship draw null and void. Gradings to be re-done and new draw to take place

Clogherinkoe up to Division 1. It can't be much more than 5 years since they were playing in Division 3, fair play to them.

Monasterevin 8. Raheens 8.. Chronic stuff altogether. Lessons in how not to win or how not to lose .. not helped by a ref 4 stone overweight.. sorry that's harsh.. 3 stone overweight.

Well done the cloghs.
