Well done to all the winners. Like ever award they'll be divided opinion. So I'd have given Mick kelly inter player of the year and Rolly senior player. Also Gerry Keegan was the best player in club hurling this year by a distance.

Well done to Ben, delighted for him, his performances against both Maynooth and Athy were exceptional, Roli had a great year for Moorefield, sending off in final probably cost him.

From a sash point of view, I fell dan Nea was very unlucky to miss out on a nomination but hard to see who could have been left out to include him in the list.

Just on a side note Naas winning Minor and U-21 in both Football and Hurling this year is a serious achievement. Well done to all involved.

They are also in talks with a x Moorefield Manager to take over the Naas Senior Team....be nice to see them competing at the top end of the senior ranks again...

I would imagine its either Dessie Brennen, Jack Sheedy or Luke Dempsey.

My guess would be Jack Sheedy , only guessing though.

Mick Fogarty played in the '80's - was a defender. Debut v Galway I think in the league if I recall around '82. And yes he won a Leinster under 21 in 1983.
Sorry to hear of the loss for a great GAA family as Jim says.

Absolutely shocked to hear of this yesterday evening.

Mick was Nurney manager this year. His love of the game was very obvious and his enthusiasm was infectious. Mick was a true gentleman, a nicer man you wouldn't meet. Condolences to his family.
