99 times out of 100 it's a free out when goalie has the ball in hand it seems Kildare are the exception if he punches it away and it ends up in the net he would be told he should have caught it Dublin get soft free against Tyrone and get score donegal get soft free last Sunday Dublin whinge about that by the way the phantom free the dubs got to win leinster v Kildare a.few years back set us back more than anything

Get over it lads. Always looking for excuses. Hyland was too far in front of his man and donnellan should have held on to it. Either of those instances it's not a goal.
That's Kildare problem always moaning about decisions rather than improving ourselves and rectifying where we can improve! We shouldn't concede another goal like this again this year if we consider it a lesson learned.

Having looked at it, I see nothing wrong with allowing the goal and as many pointed out, if it happened the other way around we would be praising strong refereeing.

We have had our fair share of bad luck/hard decisions go against us but there is no agenda.

Saying it time and again, we need to be more ruthless in closing games out, there is an inevitability that something bad is going to happen. Nearly par for the course with being a Kildare supporter.

But I like to be optimistic.. Feely will learn and wont make that mistake again and hopefully Donnelan and Hyland will have learned from that too.

It was our worst performance by far of the three yet we almost won. Before the league started we had pretty much written off Derry away and Cork at home so 4 points from 6 isn't bad. Im encouraged by improving skill levels (blip on sunday) and also how the lads dug it out to get back in front after the early second half collapse.

Once they learn collectively from their mistakes, ill accept that. Sunday is crucial, both Fermanagh and ourselves know the importance of it. Im sure the lads are chomping at the bit to get back playing again and im glad that its only 7 days after Derry (rather than 2 weeks) so we can get back on the wagon.

3 wins from 4 and we are looking at an exciting run in.

Look at the teams in our division. when we began, I think its fair to say all of us would have been hopeful of surviving. Half way through we are hopeful of promotion. That's progress to me. The positives outweigh the negatives.

Derry , Down , Meath , Cork will be less than impressed with their starts. Clare and Fermanagh are about where we thought they would be. Its ourselves who have made people sit up and in a weird way, if we had ground out the result on Sunday , the hype machine could have been setting us up for an even bigger fall later in the campaign.

Lets get out in force Sunday, they have earned our support and hopefully a few new supporters to boot.

Brilliant post Highball and a very fair analysis of the league so far! Exactly what I'd be thinking.....
