| I haven't seen Rathangan play in a nice while so was wondering. The last time he looked like a lad who could had the right things to be harnessed with serious potential, but he doesn't get name-checked much here. |

| Relegation to junior seems to have given BME a wake up call. Hard to see them being stopped |

| From the first day Boyle along with Sherry were standout runners with the ball. B Mullally was the difference in terms of scoring, perhaps TMH are a bit weak around the fringes. Healy had a lot of ball but flattered to deceive and didn't convert enough, in fairness Tommy Connell done a good job on limiting his effectiveness. TMH will hardly win it now.
Ballymore are probably streets ahead of anything they'll meet in JFC, strong all over. Eoin Kavanagh was excellent this evening. |

| Huge win for Ballymore, had it been tight the likes of Milltown and Rheban would be looking at them as beatable.. hard to see anyone getting even close to them now |

| Would be an option to do them on Bank Holiday Monday June. Eoin Doyle in to do the honours. Or even better later in the champ at the team meal when they are all there to get bits of reactions. |

| Kilcock 0-12 1-09 Kilcullen. Neither side wanted to win it. The mistakes made by both teams at the end was comical. Raheens 2-17 0-05 Castlemitchell. Raheens in 1st gear all game. Castlemitchell must have had nine 50 year olds playing. Farce of a game. |

| Thought Kilcock offered more overall but poor decision making/shooting let them down. |

| Very good performance by Clane tonight, they deserved to win by more if anything, McLoughlin and Cian O Donoghue were outstanding, Hyland at centre forward also contributed very well to the win, while defensively they got on top of the Larries forwards for the vast majority of the game. |

| Clane were full value for their win. Didn't have Ciaran Kelly or Ethan O'Donoghue either. Thought Brin McLoughlin was outstanding for a lad only 19. His ball winning point scoring and picking out runners was very good. That's a young team that Clane had out. Was disappointed in St Laurence's. Thought they were too negative and never put Clane under pressure. I'm sure a few accumulators fell on tonight's result |

| Is Tadgh Fennin over Larrries or who is the manager ??
Straffan will regret a missed goal chance and a stupid sending off by the wing forward as they had Kevins on the rack up to that stage |

| Clane were full value for their win but my God the Larrys were shocking altogether. Fenner and Podge inside and they ran ever ball. Very strange. |

| With the 1st round over a few teams have caught the eye.. jtb at senior were impressive.. clogherinkoe win over monasterevin stood out and ballymore demolition over roberstown was the stand out at junior. The other thing that stood out was the very high standard of free taking at all grades. |

| JTB and Moorefield in the replay the two most impressive performances I saw, I didn't see Celbridge or much of Athy so can't comment on them. Our own lads performance was patchy at best and we will have to improve defensively to make much of an impact. We do have the guts of 3 months to make those improvements though. |

| Yep, that's it for championship football for about 900 footballers for at least three months. We must now wait for 25 Kildare county players to bow out of two competitions they haven't a hope in hell of winning.
Strange times we live in. |
