With the long break since round 2 I think Athy and Celbridge could both be vulnerable. Towers improving with every game and Naas are a serious outfit.

I dunno Shergar. When you have to reintegrate so many county men, especially Brophy, a bit more time on the training ground can't do much harm.
Athy would be in the same boat a bit too. Both Naas and Towers will take beating but they probably won't have enough quality.
JTB should have too much for Clane, but these are the games that tend to catch them out. One eye on the semi and then it all goes to crap.
Moorefield to edge El Classico.

Agreed Bigball, standard in Junior is very low indeed, Kilcullen by the size of the town and playing population are a big club but you can see what spending too much time down at that standard does to you. TwoMileHouse are the benchmark for teams coming up from junior and the only offerer of hope really in my opinion

Its an awful pity the co board insist on playin evry game in newbridge. For example, kevins v raheens today. There would be alot of interest in that game around north west kildare but people arent gonna travel to newbridge to watch it. If it was played in clane for example thered be a great crowd at it and thus better gate reciept

Got to the game in Hawkfield earlier. It was a poor enough game but Clogherinkoe were full value for their win. Bluey Nolan and Jack Robinson ran the show for them. TMH lost both Sherrys in the first half which severely weakened them. Their full back line were really poor all night, they cough up a lot of scores but are usually able to make up for it at the other end but not tonight as Chris Healy was totally anonymous, his man marker did a good job on him. The game was over half way through the second half when they went down to 14.

Kevin's must have fell apart in the last 10 minutes, they were out scored 7-1 in that period.

Raheens' to lose now.

How good was Robinson, Taibi?

Looked a real talent at minor but a bit light and didn't make much headway v Longford at under-21 (he wasn't alone to be fair).

Is he a possibility for the senior panel next year or the following year perhaps?

Jake Corrigan from Caragh is a great man for goals. Think he is someone with massive potential

He was very good. I think he got 2 or 3 from play and kicked about 5 or 6 frees (the majority he won himself). I don't think he missed a free. He has filled out a bit but his upper-body is still a bit light. His pace is frightening so you don't want to lose that by putting him in a gym for 6 months. Have to find a balance in that regard.

He didn't start that game against Longford for some strange reason so I wouldn't read much into that game.

Eoghan Lawless of Suncroft is another exciting young player who will be in action today. It'll be interesting to see how Monasterevin handle him.

There was a fight on the pitch between Sarsfields and Raheens, it then resulted in parents getting in on the action amongst themselves in the stand. Idiots.
