Not directly related to this but I see four of the 18 teams in this Leinster Schools A Championship are from Kildare (Maynooth, Newbridge, Naas, Clane) as well as Mary's, Edenderry. Bodes well.

Moorefield for me. If it is to be Moorefield we'd then have 3 clubs representing us in Leinster who all have Leinster titles to their name previously. Don't know if that's happened before.

Think Celbridge have a similar game ethic and plan as Moorefield so it could be a tactical affair. Hope it's not and both teams just have a go and rely on their footballing ability.
Celbridge have never done themselves justice in the closing stages in recent years. However they have imo the best defender in O'Grady, the best midfielder in Conway and the best overall player in Brophy and I think this is their year.

Don't think this is going to be a shoot out. Moorefield have the experience but Celbridge surely must have the desire. Moorefield strong around the middle, Celbridge have Brophy who could win it himself if he is allowed. Hard to look by the Moore's but even though I have total respect for them I would like to see Celbridge do it.

Celbridge by 2.

Seems like another routine Moorefield win... As everyone knows I'm not a huge fan, they're such a dull team apart from young Masterson who I think is a brilliant footballer.

Would love to see Celbridge win as I'm such a Pa-Bro fan-boy. But Moorefield win for me followed by usual first round Leinster exit. I'm a real crank, aren't I?

Moorefield have come through the harder route are also league champions, this is their 4th final in 5 years so they have the experience. The other thing with Moorefield is as with every Moorefield team over the last 15 years, they are more than the some of their parts, their work ethic and consistency is the envy of pretty much every other club in the county.

When it comes to Celbridge, defensively they are excellent, they also have probably the one county player who consistently delivers for his club in Conway, and in Brophy up front they have a match winner, if he is held, they will need a huge game from hughes who hasn't really delivered in big games for Celbridge over the last few years.

All in all having seen both teams play against Sarsfields this year, I would have to go with Moorefield by 4 or 5.

Been consistently saying Celbridge all along. So Moorefield by 5 for me Very Happy

Impressed me a lot in the semi-final. Best all round team that day.

Would prefer to see Celbridge do it though.

Fancy Celbridge myself. They made a good team in JTB look very average.

Well done to Moorefield. One of the most remarkable wins in recent times. What a bottle job by Celbridge. Overall it was a very poor championship. No standout games. Standard very average.

Well done to Moorefield, probably their bet ever win in a county final and they have had some great ones. Kevin Murnaghan was exceptional as was Mark Dempsey, they got few chances up front but were clinical and were well able to draw frees from the Celbridge backs.

Celbridge will be kicking themselves and wondering how they lost this one.

Moorefield and Sarsfields the top club sides by a distance. Moorefield beat Sash by 3 points in quarter final closest anyone has come to Moorefield this year (I know Celbridge got within 2 points today but honestly 15 on 15 Moores would have won by 10). 5 years now only been beaten by each other.
Need to look at the lack of leadership qualities in so many of our "county" players.
Hard to watch "county" players handing the ball off and unwilling to take responsibility.
