Inspirational stuff from Moorefield from the league final where they came from the brink when Naas looked to be cruising right the way to Sunday. Hopefullly they can go all the way now.

Surprised at that, thought Tullamore would have been most likely venue.

I heard Moorefield took on the Laois county team last night and beat them, anyone at it or know the score. Awful night for a football game..

thanks fone, don't like that second half scoreline, maybe the wind and rain had something to do with it.

Very strong wind. Laois scored 2 points against it in the 1st half, Moorefield scored 3 against it in the second half.
Laois put out what seemed a second team.

Winning is all that matters, play to your strengths, dogged style... I get all that.

But Christ, I'd rather watch an old man cut his toe nails than that first half. What complete and utter sh*te. And let's be fair, full-back ought to be ashamed, Rivaldo in 2002 effort And perhaps the best example I've seen in sport of a team terrified of winning. As a Kildare man it's very hard to cheer for them which says a lot.

Won't be popular - but I'll just be honest after enduring that crap. Aside from about a five-minute spell in the second half, was embarrassed for Kildare football. (People will say Leinster champions but would have been annihilated without Dublin hiccup and rest of province hardly a barometer to proudly measure against, and at least Dublin champions when they did get this far envisaged winning). Didn't want to play football and on odd occasion they tried to, they couldn't play football. I've seen basketball teams kick more. Not a forward in sight either. Dived to get an extra man up for entire game, and after that happy to defend their way to defeat. Indeed by the end when somehow it was there for taking they managed to give it away. Awful, awful, awful.

Total rubbish Tommy – worthy Leinster champions. Lost by a few points today to a superb outfit.

Also there was a blatant Corofin foul in lead up to their goal.

Superb outfit? Usually but not today. Corofin kicked more wides than scores. How many kickouts did Moorefield win only to turn back towards their own goal so they could hand-pass around the backs?

Corofin are an excellent team. The build up play and finish for the goal top class, even though should never have been allowed.

Yeah thought there was a foul before there goal myself and everyone is going to be going on about Healy's dive a Corofin lad did the same thing, he got a tap on the chest and went down holding his face...Not good to see it in the game but in a game like that teams are going to try win at all costs...Pity Moorefield couldn't pull it out of the bag..James Murray has to be in the Kildare set up if he's willing to commit the lad is a man mountain...If it's Roli's last game of football the man is a legend, leader of men and played with some courage for both Kildare and Moorefield, fair play to him.

I didn't think there was a dive... Corofin lad caught him although it definitely wasn't a sending off. Ref was another headcase, one of the many handling GAA games.
