I was impressed with Confey in the first half yesterday evening although the Moors looked very sluggish. They upped the ante well in the 2nd half.

Delighted with our win over Carbury.......played well in patches but kept Carbury in it by conceding too many frees in 2nd half.

TMH have been brought to a replay in the last three rounds they've played in championship. Probably a record?

I think this years SFC will be quite competitive. Sarsfields and moorefield will obviosuly both feel that they can win it again and athy too even though i expect they will fall short again. Then after those 3 you have JTB who have more forward power than some county sides. Brian flanagan over them this year will want to improve on their performnces over the last few years. Naas confey Celbridge and Larries will also feeel they can go far and with a bit of luck they will. Maynooth are an up and coming side and i feel they could give a few teams a good rattle later on in the champ
In the IFC there are about 10 teams that can all beat each other on any given day. It must one of the most competitve championships in the country, total dogfight albeit plenty of good footballers down there. For me Ballymore are nailed on for the JFC.

Bit odd him refn a tower's match in the first place.

Why's that?

Remaining First Round games are on. Also County Board emailed out that all replays were on Wed/Thurs this week.

I would predict that unless the draw requires them to meet at some stage that Moorefield, Sash, Celbridge, Naas, Athy and JTB will make the quarter finals with the other 2 to come from Confey, Larries and Carbury or Maynooth.

Intermediate is a mine field...going to be tough to win but Raheens are moving well at present but its early in the yr yet. You hope they don't peak too early in order to stay in Div 1
