Semi-Final in Aughrim I think. Best store a flask, a flashlight and a good book in the boot.

Bring a map and a few tissues for the tears on the long drive home.

Well done Moorefield. Really dug in when it looked like it was slipping away from them. I’ve been a critic of Eanna O’Conner’s in the past but he really stepped up today and in fairness he’s been very good any time I’ve seen them this year. James Murray’s block near the end was excellent and they had leaders all over the field. Best of luck in Aughrim the next day lads. Be great to see the Kildare flag bearers still standing come December.

Where does that leave Kildare Club football now. If Moorefield had lost by a point then all the doom and gloom merchants would be saying I told you so. Now that they’ve won by a point they’ve gone from 28/1 shots to favourites for Leinster.

Great win for Moorefield. Great to see a Kildare team have the mental strength to turn it around when things looked to be slipping away from them. Eanna O'Connor was excellent and that was some block by James Murray at the end. Aaron Masterson was very good as well. If they can be a bit more clinical in front of goals they have a great chance of winning Leinster.

As far as I know, Flynn and White should be back for the semi-final. Adam Tyrell and Ryan Houlihan will be away with the army.

I see the teams that defeated Raheens (Kilanerin) and Ballymore (Erin Rovers) have both made Leinster finals too.

Typical Moorefield. Always seem to rise to the occasion when the odds are stacked against them.

O'Connor was superb and helped them over the line particularly with Tyrrell having an off day.

Savage stuff from a host of very young players out there in the green of Moorefield yesterday. To come back from 3 down and win it when their captain and vice captain were suspended, Roli was off the pitch at that stage and Adam Tyrell injured. Step up James Murray, Aaron Masterson, Eanna O'Connor and Niall Hurley Lynch and all the boys. Thats what you want lads. Bit of fight, heart and manic team spirit. Counts for a lot. A fantastic win down in Portlaoise. Portlaoise were shell shocked in the pubs after. I was friggin' delighted.

On we go. Great support from other clubs down there too. Saw plenty of heads from around the county. Great to see.

Great win for Moorefield. They show the way for all Kildare clubs in my opinion of how to get the most out of what players you have. They really ahve a great attitude. I wonder who may be asked onto the Kildare panel. and I wonder who will accept the invitation.

Based on yesterdays performance Eanna O'Connor deserves another shot. I know it didn't work out for him the last time but he showed real leadership and accuracy and we need more of that.
I said before the game that if they didn't concede goals they could win and that they wouldn't miss the 2 suspended players as much as some thought and so it proved.
Certainly wouldn't have won with 13 players yesterday!

As someone who has been very critical of Kildare clubs' record in Leinster, only right that I acknowledge what a fantastic win that was yesterday. Believe me I only want Kildare clubs to do well, that's all. Best of luck to them in Aughrim the next day... I can tell you it's not going to be for the faint-hearted. But isn't that just what the doctor ordered in the middle of winter. Probably won't make it down so would be great if it's televised but hopefully they do the business anyway.

Cracking game - so close all the way.

Like Sam1928 said, the biggest thing for me was that in the last 10 mins, Moorefield had a very young team on the pitch. All the players they've replied on in recent years - Daryl, Roli, David Whyte, Lonergans, Glavin and then Adam Tyrell injured it was amazing their determination to win it.

Agree that Eanna, Aaron Masterson and James Murray stood out - Liam Healy was superb also.

I've no doubt they are Moate but sure what can you do. Was justing looking at Paddy Power odds there and they have St Loman's as favourites for title. In fairness, they have Heslin upfront who's a right good player. I think it's much of a muchness between remaining teams, but would maybe make Rathnew slight favourites for this tie, given their impressive win over Vincent's, Leinster pedigree and home advantage. But I expect it to be a fierce battle.
