Well done to the ladies on winning the All Ireland Junior A Camogie championship today in Ashbourne against a tough Armagh side. It was a great display by the girls, who played some great hurling and shot some great scores. They got a gr8 start but were hit by two goals midway through 1st half. It was only in the last 10 mins they hit the front again and went on to win 3 10 to 2 8. They displayed great skill and determination. Great start to the weekend. Well done all.

Just got in the door there back from the match! It was a sheer dog fight against armagh today but the Kildare girls showed great spirit and pulled through.

it was a super performance, Carol Nolan of st. laurences really stood out for me, cleared some amount of ball, well done to whole team and management, delighted for camogie in the county!

Carol was amazing, she worked her socks off in the second half - I thought in the last 10-15mins all the girls held their nerve but a particular word for the larries girls, it really showed why its so hard for clubs to beat St Laurence's, the girls steady the lines and cleared everything.
