| Reading about the Parnell Passes in other threads got me thinking about ways that Club Kildare could be improved so that they could ask more money for the package therefore increasing revenue.
At the moment there is a €300 membership which entitles you to:
- Club Kildare Jacket
- Membership Card (free intercounty matches and club championship matches in Kildare)
- Option to purchase 2 All Ireland Kildare Senior Footbal Tickets
- 2 Car Stickers
- Attendance at Special Family nights at Senior Training Sessions.
This is the individual membership at the moment, how could this be improved on so that they Could offer an improved package over and above this so that they could generate more and offer something different to the Kildare fans?

| The free admission into club games is great. Saved me a lot of money over the last couple of years. If you use it right it is almost cost neutral to a member.
Percentage of Kildare merchandise bought in the county shop on producing the card.
Discount scheme set up with local retailers on production of card.
Monthly raffle for all club Kildare members free of charge for simple prizes like merchandise or cinema tickets etc something small but useful.
Oh and the calender would be nice. |

| The club Kildare draw this year was way down on previous years as the recession starts to bite into everyones take home pay. Also, many clubs are running their own draws at the same time. One suggestion is that for every ticket a club sells they get to keep one third, two thirds going to Club Kildare, and Club Kildare put up the prizes. This would be an incentive to club members to sell tickets, they would not need to run their own draw and it would also be less hassle for clubs to administer raffles, get permits etc. Who is Julie Davies? |

| Personally i believe that at the moment the way the economy stands regarding fund raising clubs and counties are better off aiming at the little and often market in that the days of a lot of people taking a Friday off and paying €100 for a round of golf are gone, better of coming up with something that hits a lot of people for €2-€5 a week or somthing like that........... |

Bit of a scare there for a moment until I realised I was mixing up Julie Davis with June Kelly...

On top of the above, hard as it might be to introduce, how about allowing members free entry to away O'Byrne Cup and league matches (may be a bit unrealistic I know). Also, I know Tom Cross ran buses to the away matches in Antrim for €15, and did a good package for the match in Letterkenny back in February (bus and hotel), cheap as they were, it might be good to see if there's any way members could get a discount on these trips? Could encourage a lot more people to travel to away games. Although I'd guess that most members would already travel to away games regardless of such a discount, it'd be nice to reward those with a little bit off and would throw a bit more business Tom's way.
Good to see Club Kildare are offering memberships for juveniles, husband and wife combos and corporate packages. Might be worth their while to come up with discounts for students and the unemployed? Maybe some sort of club membership, whereby if a group of players or members of a club sign up together they get some sort of discount on the cost.

There is an incentive there already for clubs and individuals to sell tickets for Club Kildare. For the last draw the tickets were €20 each and came in books of 12 but the seller was only required to return €200 per book, €40 profit to the seller |
